What we offer
The BCT organizes a weekly Bumps and Babes playgroup for expecting parents and parents of young babies. The Bumps and Babes group is a hub for new/expecting parents to ask and exchange advice, connect with others, and introduce their baby to their very first friends! The playgroup is a wonderful place to find support and community for expecting parents and parents of young babies.
The BCT also partners with Susie Atkinson, who is the BCT’s antenatal teacher and postnatal supporter. Susie teaches various educational courses including a prenatal group classes, one to one sessions, Relax Stretch and Breathe Prenatal Yoga classes for pregnant women, and Mother and Baby Yoga. BCT Members are entitled to a discount to the Connected and Contented Baby course or to one free Prenatal RSB or Mother and Baby Yoga class as part of their membership. Many of the BCT workshop topics are relevant to new and expecting parents.

BCT special holiday parties, nature walks, and JUKIBU storytime are all organized with babies in mind.

The special holiday events (Easter, Summer picnic, Autumn/Halloween, and Holiday party) offer plenty of hands-on crafts and games for young children.
The BCT offers student-volunteer opportunities in a family-friendly environment. We welcome volunteers for our special holiday events and ongoing volunteer roles.

Join us for an English storybook reading and a coordinating craft. The reading and activity will be targeted to children ages 0-5. After the reading feel free to stay a little longer and browse the impressive selection of English and other language books.
