Here are a few offerings that various members of the BCT Community have recommended. They work well for parents juggling family life.
This institution offers a variety of levels and courses, including a Mom and Baby Course.
Daria Kolacka’s instructor writes: “I am more than happy to work with mums coming to my classes with their babies (up to 6 months of age). We work with videos, books, newspapers and other teaching materials. Learning German and getting to know the local culture simultaneously is a fantastic way to enjoy your maternity leave”.

This centre runs courses for various levels in the mornings and afternoons.
Additionally, it provides integrated early childhood language development through daycare and playgroups.
Childcare is available for a fee (6 months- 5 years) in the same or nearby building.
Treffpunkt Basel is a group of community centres.
Most offer German conversation practice for free. Furthermore, several provide German courses for parents and children (0-4 years) for a small fee.
